Confession

Pastor: God, we admit that we have been less than faithful in the important relationships in our lives.

All:  Our eyes have wondered and our minds have taken us places that bring us to destruction and death.  We are broken people who are dead in our sin and need you to bring us to life.

Pastor:  God, we give you thanks and praise that you, in Jesus Christ, are at work reconciling all things, including our broken relationships.

All:  You are our God who brings us freedom from all that holds us captive, and forgiveness for every sinner.  We give you thanks and praise that our faithlessness isn’t the end but in Christ, there is a new beginning. Amen.
